This fragrant showstopper features huge blooms (up to 7 inches across) comprised of broad, cranberry-red petals surrounding a fringe-like center of slightly deeper red. Adds a bit of drama to both bouquets and the landscape. Midseason. Ht: 32". Zones 3-8. Peonies bloom in May and early June. Use them in beds and borders and also enjoy them as fragrant, long-lasting cut flowers. Plant in a sunny, well-drained location, spacing no closer than 3 to 4 feet with eyes no deeper than 1 1/2 inches below the soil level.
