Blueberry, Dwarf Northcountry
One of the best varieties for the edible landscape. Slightly earlier and larger than Northsky, the compact bush plants grow about 1 1/2 to 2 feet high with a 3 foot spread. One of the most adaptable blueberries for less-than-optimum soil types. Mature plants yield 2 to 7 pounds of medium-sized sky blue fruits with scrumptious mild blueberry flavor. Dark green summer foliage turns bright scarlet in fall. Hardy to -35 degrees F.
Although blueberries are somewhat self-fruitful, fruit set will be greater when more than one variety is planted.
