Lingonberry, Red Candy

(P.P. 22105)-A nutritious and delicious fruiting shrub. Compact, highly productive plants have shiny, dark green, evergreen foliage that grows up to 10 inches across. White, spring flowers are followed by berries that ripen in late summer and will hold on the plant for a long time. The vitamin-rich, red, tart and lemony berries are prized for preserves, sauces and pastries. Grow like blueberries in moist, acid peat soil. Can be grown in containers.
