Grape, Brianna
This white grape bred by Elmer Swenson makes a palate pleasing, semi-sweet white wine with tropical aromas of pineapple, banana and mango. Also makes a nice grape juice and blends well into other wines, adding a fruity taste without being overbearing. The 6 to 8 foot vines are hardy, fairly easy to grow and have good resistance to the most common grape diseases. Vines produce medium-sized clusters of grapes that begin ripening in August.
