Zones 4-9 In early spring dainty purplish-pink flowers outline every branch and twig. A canopy of large, heart-shaped green leaves follow, which turn golden-yellow in fall. In cold climates, plant in sheltered locations as redbuds tend to have limited cold and wind tolerance. Ht: 15-25'. 2 to 4 foot whip.
