Currant, Rovada
Developed in the Netherlands, Rovada bears heavy crops of very large and beautiful translucent red berries borne in long clusters. The fruits taste as good as they look and are delicious eaten fresh or in sparkling red jams and jellies. Plants have good vigor and disease resistance, plus they are late to flower, thus escaping late season frosts. Fruit ripens in late July.
