Lilac, Common Hedge

Zones 3-7. The perfect choice for an informal hedge. It suckers readily to fill in unsightly gaps. In mid-spring, usually around Memorial Day, large clusters of sweetly fragrant, amethyst-purple flowers are borne in mass profusion. The upright, vase-shaped plants grow 12 to 15 feet tall and are well-covered with blue-green foliage. Ht: 12-15'.
