Pear, Dwarf, Ubileen
Harvest first pears of the season. A prized variety originating from Bulgaria, this European-type pear produces large, attractive fruits that ripen in mid to late July, a full month ahead of Bartlett. The pears are yellow with a nice red blush and have a delicious sweet flavor with buttery-textured flesh. Mature trees will be about 12 to 15 feet tall. They exhibit a high degree of disease resistance and are very vigorous and productive. Harvest your first pears about 2 to 4 years after planting.
Cross-pollination with another pear is recommended. We suggest Bartlett.
