Alocasia & Colocasia
These big-leaved, tropical looking plants add a bold interest to any patio container, yard or near water features. They thrive in moist, organically rich soil and prefer full sun, but they can tolerate lower light levels. Plant height will be restricted when grown in containers. Plant roots can be dug, dried and stored through winter to replant in spring as you would with Dahlia tubers.
