Amaryllis

For gardeners and non-gardeners, growing Amaryllis bulbs is one of the most enjoyable and satisfying things to do during the long winter months. Amaryllis makes a great Christmas or holiday gift. They are simple and easy for anyone to grow and enjoy! Until planting time, store Amaryllis bulbs in a cool (45°-55°F), dark but well-ventilated place. Extra chilling is not required to make them bloom, but pots should be no more than 1-2 inches wider than the width of the bulb, and make sure the pot has adequate drainage holes.
