(55-65 Days) The first full-size filet bean that is completely stringless. Dark green, 7 to 7-1/2, inch pencil-slim pods are very firm textured and full of flavor. Unbelievably productive with the pods produced in a concentrated set for easy picking. Combines pole bean quality and flavor on a bush plant. About 100 seeds per ounce.

Maxibel Beans - The Best Bean
Feb 23, 2024  |  By Lou
I originally grew Blue Lake but found this bean and have been growing Maxibel beans for quite a few years. Maxibel is unbelievably productive. Wave after wave of delicious beans are produced during the growing season. I can typically get two plantings Spring and very early Fall and have a continuous crop of beans for home and neighborhood friends. Anyone I've given the beans to have commented on them being the best tasting beans they've ever had. If you've never tried Maxibel you will not be disappointed and once you try it you won't grow any other bean.
