(48-54 Days) One of the best for freezing and canning. Early, reliable and high yielding. Long, straight, round pods 5 to 6 inches long have delicious buttery flavor that holds up well for freezing and canning. The pods are concentrated in the lower part of the 16 inch plants for easy picking. Tolerance to Powdery Mildew and high resistance to other plant diseases keeps Provider yielding lots of beans over a long period, even under adverse conditions. Purple seeded.

Fantastic yield

I used seed that was two years old and they pretty well all came up. Planted middle to end of June and picked for three weeks in August. Had about 8 rows 25-30' long and picked a total of 58 gallons of beans over a three week period. Very impressed. Even during a VERY hot and dry summer (we did water of course though).
