I appreciate that you called me, sent replacement seed promptly (which I didn't expect), and checked the germination of the lot. I just finished replanting. Lucious Hybrid -Germination/Emergence Concerns

I planted treated seed from a 150 seed packet on May 21st at 1.5 inches deep. from Lot Y J01811A with a 10" plant spacing in 24" rows. Packet states "sell by Dec 2023." I had a 25% germination rate. Realize the packet says to plant 3/4/ to 1 inch deep, but shallow planting doesn't allow for proper brace root development. I am going to order more from you right now. Would like to know what the germination test was? I've never planted this hybrid before and am excited to taste it, but disappointed with vigor so far.
Owner Response: We are sorry to hear about the germ rate on this seed. Luscious is a great sweet corn and a very popular variety. This was tested in December 2022 at 95%. We have taken care of the replacement seed.
