Good all purpose

This is the corn I grew up with, and for good reason. The ears are large, the kernels are semi-sweet (i.e., not a super sweet variety), and tender. The NK 199 is forgiving if you fail to pick it on time. Other varieties I have tried tend to have a short "peak". NK 199 is good for eating fresh on the cob or freezing. The stalks are strong and not prone to rot.
