66 days. An AAS Winner!
Pick more than a peck of pretty chili peppers from these high-yielding plants. The 3 to 4 inch fleshy, cone-shaped fruits have unusually fine flavor rated as mildly hot (500-600 average Scoville units) with fruity overtones. One of the earliest chili peppers to ripen and also one of the most productive peppers overall. Usually harvested when yellow, but are very good used right up to the mature red stage. Ideal for salsas, sauces, stuffed and grilled. A 2006 AAS Winner.

Mariachi - Great Choice
Jan 24, 2024  |  By Bob Moellenberndt
We highly recommend this variety of moderately hot pepper. Mariachi peppers have a lot of flavor and we use them in salsa, hot dishes, stir fry, fresh in salads, and for drying. We have planted Mariachi peppers now for a few years and can report that they are consistently VERY productive and disease free plants right up to first frost. The peppers can be harvested at any stage of development. They are a moderately hot pepper, not as hot as Jalapeno but in our experience much more productive.
