(70-80 Days)-Attractive 6.5 to 8 inch fruits mature to bright red then dry to a deep burgundy-black. Peppers are mildly hot with a Scoville rating of 2,500 to 5,000. High-yielding plants are strong, healthy, and provide good leaf cover for the fruits. Great when harvested and eaten fresh in salsa or dried and later ground into powder to flavor sauces, spreads, and rubs. Highly resistant to Tobacco Mosaic Virus with intermediate resistance to Phytophthora Root Rot.
