A red-hot sunflower. Pollen-free, 4 to 6 inch blooms of deep, velvety red with ebony centers are held on 30inch stems. Plants have excellent branching. (DS-SI) This variety may be sown directly in the garden, but for earlieer bloom, can be started indoors 4-8 weeks prior to planting outside after danger of frost is past.
