This deep yellow peony was the result of breeding work begun by Mr. Toichi Itoh of Tokyo in 1948. It's a cross between herbaceous and tree peonies and is herbaceous in character. It's prized for its large, semi-double blooms, up to 8 inches in diameter. Flowers in late May and early June. Ht: 30-36".
