An interesting North American native plant. Each stem has 2 to 3 sets of leaves at its tip from which emerge a small knot of yellow or green flowers in spring surrounded by 4 white bracts. The flowers later develop into a cluster of striking berries. Thrives in moist, acidic soil and a cool location. Spreads 6 to 12 inches. Ht: 3-9"
