P.P. 19811 Ornamental fruit without a pollenizer. Unlike common American bittersweet, this variety has perfect flowers that include both male and female parts so you need only one plant for fruiting. The fruit is abundant and the berries are twice as large as the straight species. Bright orange to red berries is displayed against glossy foliage. Berries are used for ornamental purposes only. They are poisonous to humans, but can be enjoyed by birds.
