(Rubus arcticus x stellarcticus) Also known as Arctic Raspberries. Highly ornamental, thornless vines produce attractive flowers and delicious fruits. Developed in Sweden, these weed-smothering, hardy plants spread by underground rhizomes creating a thick mat of bright green foliage. In spring, plants bear 1" pink flowers followed by small, sweet, aromatic berries that ripen in midsummer. In fall, the foliage turns attractive shades of red and burgundy. Nagoonberries will begin bearing the year after planting. Each plant bears up to 1 pound of fruit. Our raspberry offers include cultivars Anna and Sophia, as both are required for fruit set.
