Excellent trees with tons of apples.
Jan 3, 2025  |  By Diana
I have four of these trees now. I am extremely happy with them. They are prolific producers and the quality of the fruit is excellent. If you live in a high wind area like I do, the compact design is key to keeping the fruit on and less/no damage to the trees. Also, if you know high winds are coming, you can cover the entire tree in about 1 minute as well as if there is a late season frost/snow coming, My latest snow/frost date was June 18th. Our soil is poor so we keep them in large pots. I think the coldest temps they've had has been maybe -5f and they've done just fine, in the large pots. I can't say enough about these. If you want shade, these obviously aren't your gal but if you want great apples in abundance, she is!
