An early ripening, very hardy, large-fruited apple with pale yellow skin heavily splashed red. Very juicy white flesh has pink veins and sprightly distinctive flavor. Excellent for pies, sauce and eating fresh. Keeps into December. Resistant to fire blight, scab and cedar-apple rust. Small, compact trees bear young and heavily. Ripens early September.
