A favorite for pickling and preserving. Bears big crops of round to conic fruits that are a little larger than a golf ball. Skin is light yellow with a red blush and flesh is creamy-yellow, juicy and sweet. Ripens in late August. Self pollinating. Good pollination partner for other early blooming apple varieties.
