Known as the 'Rum Pear' due to its rich butterscotch or rum-like flavor. Medium to large, golden-russet fruit ripens in early to mid-September and keeps until January if refrigerated. Trees are very productive, so be sure to thin fruit early in the season. Budded on hardy rootstocks. Not self-fruitful, so plant two varieties for pollination.
