Just one bulb of this fabulous begonia will fill a tub or planter. Bushy plants spread 2' or more, filled with rich green foliage and a summer-long display of abundant fiery orange-red, 2" pendulous blooms. This gigantic begonia was bred in Norway and named from the castle that's home to the King of Norway. Early pinching will help develop the fullest plants.
In Zones 3-7, begonia bulbs must be dug in fall and stored inside over the winter. For best results, dig the bulbs after the first frost and allow them to dry down for a few days before storing them in peat moss in a cool, dry, dark and frost-free location.
