Willow, Hakuro Nishiki

(Salix integra 'Hakura Nishiki') Zones 4-7 Slender branches add movement and texture to the landscape. Beautiful variegated foliage. The unique white, green, and pink foliage is held on narrow branches that swish and sway even in gentle breezes. The bushes bear small, pussy willow-like catkins in spring and adapt well to a wide range of planting conditions, even wet soil. Grows 4 to 6 feet tall and wide, requires shearing in early summer to maintain the colorful variegation.
