A butterfly magnet! The fragrant nectar of these carefree perennials attracts scores of butterflies. Clusters of star-shaped flowers are produced from early July through August followed by milkweed-type seed pods. Umbrella-shaped plants tolerate poor, sandy soils. Like other milkweeds, they can be slow to start. Height varies from 18-24". Bright, tangerine orange flowers.
