A carpet of color in late summer. Fall asters rival chrysanthemums for bringing brilliant color to flower borders in late summer and fall. Sprays of one inch blooms thickly cover the mounded plants. Easily grown in any fertile, moist well drained soil. Bushy 18-24" plants bear royal purple flowers.
